After installing bareos webui on Debian 8.8 with Bareos 16.2, apache2 and php 5.6 my connection to the director is broken, I can not access bconsole and the login to the webui is not working either. The systemlog: bconsole: bsock_tcp.c:134 Unable to connect to Director daemon on localhost:9101. ERR=Connection refused Before installing the webui the port 9101 was not showing up during connection process. I changed the webui port to 9102- no change (I reload apache every time I make such a change). BTW the status of the director: systemctl status bareos-dir ● bareos-director.service - Bareos Director Daemon service Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/bareos-director.service; enabled) Active: failed (Result: timeout) since Fri 2018-07-27 14:20:14 CEST; 1h 10min ago Docs: man:bareos-dir(8) Process: 10263 ExecStart=/usr/sbin/bareos-dir (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS) Process: 10257 ExecStartPre=/usr/sbin/bareos-dir -t -f (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS) Main PID: 942 (code=killed, signal=KILL) PID file /var/lib/bareos/bareos-dir.9101.pid not readable (yet?) after start. systemd[1]: bareos-director.service start operation timed out. Terminating. bareos-dir[10264]: Shutting down BAREOS service: bareos-dir ... systemd[1]: Failed to start Bareos Director Daemon service. systemd[1]: Unit bareos-director.service entered failed state. I follow the instructions on http://doc.bareos.org/master/bareos-manual-main-reference.pdf. The webui is showing up, but login is not possible. Bconsole can not be started anymore, as well as bareos-director. FD and SD are running fine. |

Is this still reproducible with Bareos recent version 22.1.0? |
