Summary | 0000687: directive "drive type = fixed" dont work in same cases
Description | I have windows hosts with MSoffice starter preinstalled, which create virtual drive Q:/ in system. That drive in windows have type "local disk" and protected (dont open from explorer). If in section include "file = /" bareos detect 3 drives as "fixed" (C:/,D:/,Q:/) and tyind make VSS for each. For Q:/ he cant make VSS, and job fails. Adding drive Q in exclude section dont help. Need directive to exclude some drives in VSS in fileset section or or the ability to use expressions like [c-d] in include section. This problem can occur at any time when you connect a strange virtual device (eg, ramdisk or truecrypt image)

Is this still reproducible with current code (Bareos >21) ? Also documentation how-to include exclude disk are available. |
