| Description | Got something like this again in 21.0 version: https://bugs.bareos.org/view.php?id=719 Failed to retrieve data from Bareos director Error message received from director: Failed to send result as json. Maybe the result message is too long? | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Don't know the steps, but as I got it happens when more volumes or output used. Especcially when you run a script on a client, e.g. gitlab dump: sudo mkdir /var/opt/gitlab/backups sudo chown git /var/opt/gitlab/backups sudo gitlab-rake gitlab:backup:create SKIP=artifacts If you got this once you'll not be able to open any job details (the same message all the time) until all backup jobs will finish. | ||||
| Additional Information | I don't know is it web bug or just director, but there is no error in director logs. To help debugging, it would be nice to have at least one of the offending joblog, which can be extracted with bconsole. please to so and attach the output here (if < 2MB) or on an accessible share. Developper can be also interested by the same output in json, to do so you can switch bconsole output to ".api 2" bconsole <<<"@output /var/tmp/joblog_jobidXXXX_json.log .api 2 list joblog jobid=XXXX " where XXX is the problematic jobid. |
