Platform | Linux | OS | Ubuntu | OS Version | 18.04 |
Product Version | 18.2.5
Summary | 0001272: Ubuntu Mirror Not Updated
Description | The Ubuntu 18 mirror that you maintain at http://download.bareos.com/bareos/release/18.2/xUbuntu_18.04/ has newly updated packages on it, but the repo/source files are not updated to reflect this, so issuing 'apt upgrade' with your apt source configured does not update the bareos binaries installed. I suppose there is a possibility this is intentional, if there were some manual steps required to upgrade past version 18.2.5 but this does not appear to be documented anywhere.
Steps To Reproduce | Add repo for Bareos 18 to Ubuntu 18.04 as per instructions on https://docs.bareos.org/IntroductionAndTutorial/InstallingBareos.html#install-on-debian-based-linux-distributions Issue 'apt upgrade' cmd Note that no update is installed
