Summary | 0001198: Upgrade of Bareos client on Windows gives error when trying to copy libbareos.dll | ||||
Description | The upgrade fails to copy libbareos.dll because "Bareos Tray Monitor" is still running in the background. The installer does not stop this process. To continue the upgrade process the "Bareos Tray Monitor" process has to be killed manually in the Task Manager. | ||||

I had the same problem when there was an other Bareos Tray Monitor running in an other session. Please check your Task Manager for that... | |
you are right. A Bareos Tray Monitor running in an other session might have been the case here too. I didn't pay attention to the user account that the "Bareos Tray Monitor" process was running under when I killed the task manually in the Task Manager, so I can confirm, but it sounds likely. All my windows clients are updated now so I can not reproduce it at the moment. |
