I had the same problem when there was an other Bareos Tray Monitor running in an other session. Please check your Task Manager for that... |

you are right. A Bareos Tray Monitor running in an other session might have been the case here too. I didn't pay attention to the user account that the "Bareos Tray Monitor" process was running under when I killed the task manually in the Task Manager, so I can confirm, but it sounds likely. All my windows clients are updated now so I can not reproduce it at the moment. |

The windows installer remove normally all the installed program before installing new one. I've not been able to reproduce this on Windows Server 2022 and Bareos 22.1.0. Maybe a sentence can be added (community PR welcomed) to the documentation about the fact that if users are logged and tray monitor is installed, there's a risk that will not work. |
