0001343: VSS error that leads to backup failure of entire Windows drive is logged as Non-fatal FD error only
Description
I recognized that sometimes VSS fails for drive e: of my Windows server which is logged in the job log as this:
> Could not open directory "e:/": ERR=Das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden.
This error leads to backup failure of entire Windows drive e:
but in the job summary it is only logged as
> Non-fatal FD errors: 1
and the job status in the Web UI is shown als "Warning" only.
But since this error leads to major missing data in the backup this error should be considered as fatal and shown as "Error" in the job status.
While we tried to contact you several times per email and didn't get any return, we won't work on any issue opened by you before you contact our sales department.
