Summary0001198: Upgrade of Bareos client on Windows gives error when trying to copy libbareos.dll
DescriptionThe upgrade fails to copy libbareos.dll because
"Bareos Tray Monitor" is still running in the background. The installer does not stop this process.

To continue the upgrade process the "Bareos Tray Monitor" process has to be killed manually in the Task Manager.

I had the same problem when there was an other Bareos Tray Monitor running in an other session. Please check your Task Manager for that...

you are right. A Bareos Tray Monitor running in an other session might have been the case here too.
I didn't pay attention to the user account that the "Bareos Tray Monitor" process was running under when I killed the task manually in the Task Manager, so I can confirm, but it sounds likely.
All my windows clients are updated now so I can not reproduce it at the moment.

The windows installer remove normally all the installed program before installing new one.
I've not been able to reproduce this on Windows Server 2022 and Bareos 22.1.0.

Maybe a sentence can be added (community PR welcomed) to the documentation about the fact that if users are logged and tray monitor is installed, there's a risk that will not work.
